 Treasure Coast Activities
The Florida Treasure Coast has a number of activities that encompass the outdoors. Some say it is the Sailfish Capital of the World, while others think of it as a boater's paradise. Many golfers feel that this area, home of the PGA, offers the best selection of golf courses anywhere. As you can see by this photo, the Treasure Coast also offers a number of beautiful beaches. Sun lovers enjoy walking the beach, surf fishing, volleyball, swimming, or building sand castles.
Boating
Boating abounds on the Treasure coast. Take your family out to the sand bar for a fun day in the sun. Take that special someone on a beautiful river cruise, then tie up at one of our wonderful dockside restaurants for a magnificent waterside meal.
Waterskiing is alway fun and romping in the river on a jetski is an incredible adventure.
Fishing
Fishing on the Treasure Coast of Florida is incredible year round.
We have many lakes and rivers for fresh water anglers seeking trophy bass. Crappie fishing in the spring wil knock your socks off. All year long, you can have fun fishing for anything from panfish to catfish to exotic import species such as peacock bass.
Salt water anglers have many different options to choose from. The intercoastal waterway and area estuaries offer excellent fishing for species such as seatrout, weakfish, drum, snook, tarpon, jacks and snapper.
Surf fishing enthusiasts will find lots of action with species such as pompano, whiting, snook, bluefish and, yes, even king mackeral.
Inshore fishing provides lots of fun with snapper, grouper, king and spanish mackeral, cobia and many other species as common fare.
Offshore fishing provides lots of snapper, grouper, jacks and cobia, while trolling brings sailfish, marlin, dolphin (mahi-mahi), wahoo and tuna.
